Nevada STEM Mentor Network
The Nevada STEM Mentor Network, developed by the NV System of Higher Education Sponsored Programs Office (SSPO) and EPSCoR office, serves as a resource for students, faculty, businesses and the general public to obtain information about experts in science, technology, engineering and math(STEM) available in the state of Nevada. The Nevada STEM Mentor Network currently consists of NSHE faculty working in the fields of climate change science, education and outreach, cyberconnectivity, cyberinfrastructure, and NASA aeronautics and space programs, among others. Students looking for mentoring opportunities in STEM fields will find this site particularly helpful in connecting with top faculty mentors in Nevada who are at the forefront of SPO and EPSCoR programs.
Faculty interested in becoming a mentor or in exploring collaborative efforts with other faculty in their disciplines may also access The Nevada STEM Mentor Network. If you are interested in serving as a mentor and having your contact information included in The Nevada STEM Mentor Network database, please contact mirna_mejia@nshe.nevada.edu.
